On Craig Mod's latest

via Craig Mod, on his Special Projects newsletter

Craig published a long piece last week about the routine of his most recent walk. I am not going to summarize it; you should read it. The link is in the newsletter, behind the paywall that I would argue is worth the price for this issue alone.

The part I keep returning to is the middle third, where he describes the particular pace at which his thinking happens when he walks, as opposed to when he sits. There is a sentence in there about how the body sets the cadence of the prose. I have been chewing on it for a week. He is right about it in a way I cannot fully articulate yet.
